Our Story

IN A NUTSHELL

Lady Jane Studios is a boutique creative house globally known for its funky, unique creativity, style and high-quality projects in motion. Co-founders Janine Phillips and Diana Hunter brought their passion for animation, storytelling and business savvy together to form Lady Jane Studios. We create our own stories and co-partner with studios and production companies locally and globally, taking on projects at any stage (from start to finish or in-between).

Janine Phillips - has been working in animation for over 18 years. She started with WHN/Culver City as a freelance animator/designer for shows such as Ally McBeal, The Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, South Park, MLB, NHL and many more. She later worked as an Animator, freelancing with PDI/DreamWorks on Shrek, and Creative Director/Animator with WHN on such features as Pink Panther, Spiderman, Star Wars and Austin Powers.

In 2005 Janine began creating her own animated projects "Lostonia" and "Ballstalk". Her most recent endeavor is "Tails of Foxy", a children's story of rescue and adoption. In-between she freelances as a Creative Director with studios and companies (Disney globally, DreamWorks, Warner Brothers, Universal, Coca-Cola, FIFA).

Diana Hunter – has worked in business/finance for nearly twenty years, consulting for global accounting, major retailers and educational firms in a financial advisory capacity. She was a financial producer for a comedy short featured in over 40 film festivals nationwide and enjoys investing in creative projects and ideas of all kinds.
